Our hosts reminded me of Yia Yia pretty much at every meal... questioning why we don't eat more!

I do that as well Josh .. just can’t help myself 😂🦋

The charging elephant and the cirque de Soleil-ing monkeys were very entertaining to read about. Probably less fun in the moment, but so glad for you that you're having such a vivid time. That Sri Lanka account makes me want to book there asap. I also love your humility at naming the things that are first-world privileges to find irritating but also a real-life pain. Sending my love and AC vibes. Xx

Thanks Ashley.❤️ This is the first time I’ve experienced the human-isms of monkeys doing their daily thing. Their curious little eyes darting about constantly, always looking for trouble. Having glass between us and them made it a whole lot more enjoyable!! It makes for an unforgettable family trip… a bit more challenging, but unforgettably rewarding. x

Love this! Takes me back to my trips to Sri Lanka. I found Udawalawe elephants utterly magical.

Right Lucy? Those proper 'gosh...wow' moments feel just that bit rarer these days. This, was one. As you say, magical.
